Everything a procurement engineer needs to know before they send the drawing. Tolerances, materials, processes, lead times, and quality documentation — all in one place.
Our capabilities span standard commercial work through high-precision applications. Every order ships with dimensional inspection records — no exceptions.
| Grade | Tolerance | Typical applications | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Commercial | ±0.005″ | Structural brackets, enclosures, non-critical housing components | Standard lead time, lowest cost per part |
| Precision | ±0.002″ | Bearing housings, shaft interfaces, gearbox components | First-article inspection included |
| High Precision | ±0.001″ | Optical mounts, aerospace flight hardware, medical devices, high-speed rotating assemblies | Full CMM report, lot traceability, first-article approval required |
| Custom | On request | GD&T callouts, true position, runout, flatness — any spec your drawing requires | Quote with drawing; we'll confirm achievability before accepting |
Common alloys are in-house and ready to cut. Specialty materials are sourced to order with certified mill stock — lead time adjusts accordingly.
Best strength-to-weight ratio for most widget applications. Anodizes cleanly.
Corrosion resistance and cleanability for industrial and medical-adjacent applications.
Lightweight, self-lubricating, or chemically resistant options for demanding environments.
Excellent for electrical contacts, decorative hardware, and applications requiring natural lubricity.
Not sure which alloy to specify? Send us the application requirements — operating environment, load case, surface finish expectation, and whether the part needs a secondary treatment. We'll recommend the material that hits your spec at the lowest cost.
Our shop handles milling, turning, and a full slate of finishing options. Most parts never leave the building until they're shipping to you.
3-axis and 4-axis milling for prismatic parts, complex pockets, and contoured surfaces. Tight tolerance machining on precision CNC widgets from prototype quantity through production runs of 10,000+.
Live-tool turning centers handle cylindrical parts, threaded features, and OD/ID profiles in a single setup. Reduces handling error on round stock — better roundness, better concentricity.
Type II clear and color anodize for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. Type III hard anodize for wear-critical aluminum surfaces. Processed through our approved finishing partners with lot traceability.
Nitric or citric acid passivation for stainless steel parts per ASTM A967 or AMS 2700. Removes free iron from the surface and maximizes native corrosion resistance.
Uniform matte finish on aluminum and steel — removes machining marks, improves cosmetic consistency across a batch, and provides a good base for subsequent coating.
Durable thermoplastic coating for parts requiring color, additional corrosion resistance, or a consumer-grade surface finish. Specify RAL or Pantone color; we'll match it.
Lead time depends on quantity, complexity, and material availability. We confirm your date before accepting the order — not after it hits the floor.
Single-part or small-batch prototypes where schedule matters more than price. Available for most standard materials with 2-day notice.
Our default prototype lead time. Covers quantities up to ~50 pieces in most materials, with first-article inspection included.
50–500 pieces. Dedicated machine time, production fixtures, and inspection per your AQL. Price breaks at 100 and 250 pieces.
500–10,000+ pieces. Scheduled production runs with blanket PO pricing. Contact us to discuss a standing order arrangement.
Our inspection workflow runs on every job — not just when someone asks for it. Here's what happens before your parts leave our building.
Critical dimensions are verified at the machine — not just after the run. Operator logs measurements at setup and at defined intervals through the batch.
Every shipment gets a CMM or hand-gauge final check against the drawing. Precision and high-precision grades include a full dimensional report. Standard grade includes a CoC.
Mill cert (CoC from the material supplier) included with every order. Lot-traceable material on high-precision jobs. No substitutions without approval.
FAIRs available on request for any job, standard for precision and high-precision grades. Formatted to AS9102 if your program requires it.
Every shipment carries a lot ID that links to the inspection record, material cert, and operator log. If your QA team ever needs to trace back, we have it.
Our quality management system follows ISO 9001 structure for document control, nonconforming material, corrective action, and supplier qualification. Formal certification in process.
Actively working toward AS9100D certification for aerospace and defense supply chain eligibility. Gap assessment complete; formal audit targeted for Q4 2026. We're qualified for aerospace programs under customer-directed approval in the interim.
ITAR registration in progress for programs requiring it. Contact us directly if your program has ITAR requirements — we'll discuss eligibility and timeline.
Our customers typically operate in environments where tolerance stack-up matters, documentation is non-negotiable, and a delayed part stops a program.
Drop your requirements into the quote form and a member of our engineering team will respond within one business day — with a price and a committed ship date.
